In order to prove the title of today's blog, I shall first provide some definitions from urbandictionary.com.
Politically correct:
1. The laws of moral and ethical relativism; all systems of cultures and thought are equal in value, stemming from a perceived guilt from white liberals who believe that the Western Civilization is the root of all evil to the exclusion of all else.
2. The ideology of weird left wing liberals who want society to be nothing but accepting of all perverts and freaks everywhere. The main basis is not to offend anyone with one little incorrect word.
3. A method of controlling and dictating public speech and thought.
4. A powerful form of censorship.
5. People who try so hard to say the right thing they end up just looking like twats
6. A way that we speak in America so we don't offend whining pussies.
7. A form of censorship practiced by faggots and leftist subversive fucks so they don't have to hear any points of view that they don't agree with.
In case you couldn’t tell, I hate political correctness. And I am prepared to show the ridiculousness of what I shall shorten to “PC”. *note. PC does not stand for Personal Computer in this instance, it stands for Political Correctness*
If you as a black man are offended by the term “Black” then I should have the right to be offended by the word “White” to describe me. “Boy, that White chick is…” “Excuse me.” “Yes?” “I am not White, I am French/Scottish/Irish American.” [silence] See how ridiculous that is? If a black man is to be called African American, then as a Caucasian I should be referred to as a European American. If I call someone who is black…Black…that isn’t racist. I’m being descriptive.
If I want to start a White club on campus, then I should be allowed to. Blacks are allowed their club, Asians, Mexicans, they’re all allowed their “clubs” and exclude all but their race and is accepted and encouraged. But the moment white people want to make their own club, it is instantly seen as racist, as if every “whites only” club is going to turn into the KKK. Question for whoever made that decision. Do you realize that Whites are not the only racists? Blacks, Mexicans, Asians, all of them have the capability to be racist just as Whites have the capability to NOT be racist.
Now, I support the LBGT movement. However, if the LBGT can have their “coming out day” then the heterosexuals should have their day to celebrate their decision to be hetero.
I think the strive for equality would be helped if we stopped being offended by every little word.
We are teaching kids that everyone is a winner at everything. This must STOP. I'm sorry, you little fat 300 lb 4th grader, you need to lose weight. You are not a winner in track, you are not a winner at "trying", you and your parents are failing at helping you succeed. I'm sorry your brain doesn't function like a normal child, 6th grader girl who can't function above a 4th grade level, you shouldn't be in with the rest of the 6th graders. Your parents need to put you in a classroom where you can have the help you need instead of expecting the public schools to provide a teacher who can juggle 30 hyperactive 6th graders AND your many needs.
Stop expecting every child to be able to accomplish the same things. That fat kid wont run like the lean kid who can run fastest in his class. The ADD kid won't be able to sit still like the shy girl who is content to do her work quietly. Standardized testing sucks. Stop using it.
Here's a good one. Merry Christmas. [gasp] She said [whispers] Merry Christmas The horrors!!! The whole argument is ridiculous. Guess what, 'Holiday' people, we celebrate Christmas because of the Christians. Guess what, 'Christmas' people, we celebrate Christmas because of the PAGANS. We only still have Christmas because of commercialism. Jesus wasn't even born on the 25th of December. So for all who are offended by the term "Merry Christmas" get over it. Saying Merry Christmas doesn't mean we're against other religions. Say Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, whatever you want to use to convey the happiness of the season.
When we strive to make everyone happy, we end up causing more problems than we started with.
Don't let PC ruin your life! Say Merry Christmas, call a black person a black person, call the illegal immigrants what they are: illegal.
