Weekly Goals

I have a mental list of goals miles long I would love to accomplish, some reasonable and others are...well, let's just say they're rather impossible (like living in a more sci-fi world).  I suppose those would be more of fantasies rather than goals, but I digress.

I have decided to make weekly goals for myself.  It won't be many, especially not at first.  Too many, and I'll give up, I know this.   So, this week's goals are as follows:


  1. Walk for 30 minutes three separate days
  2. Meditate three separate days
  3. Send in 3 resumes to part time jobs in Lincoln
  4. Finish chapter 3 on The Hermits Adventure
Bring it on, week.

I am all for lists, as you probably know. I feel that you deserve applause for this blog on two counts. First, that you're motivating yourself with weekly lists. Second, that you're keeping those lists manageable.

I fall into the trap of feeling terribly motivated and productive, and then making a list so long and ambitious that when I'm done I just file it away as: "Stuff I'll eventually do. Someday. In the future. Hopefully."
